The Guado al Tasso estate is located near Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, 60 miles southwest of Florence. The 750 acres given over to the estate's vineyards are at the centre of the so-called ”Bolgheri amphitheatre”: rolling hillsides which surround a splendid plain that slopes gently towards the sea, creating a micro-climate with outstanding properties. Guado al Tasso, the flagship wine of the estate, expresses all of the power and suppleness of this corner of the upper Maremma.

On the nose the initial balsamic sensations are followed by aromas of ripe fruit and spices, while the palate is velvety, with soft tannins and much finesse.
