Hibiki, meaning "Resonance" has always been dedicated to celebrating the Harmony that can be found in Nature and craftsmanship. Since its launch in 1989 commemorating Suntory's 90th birthday, it has embodied the pursuit of exceptional Harmony to cultivate Wa - anexperience of Oneness. In this special edition, the masterpiece that is Hibiki is paired with a newly commissioned masterpiece fromthe artist Hiroshi Senju. Both Hibiki and Senju share in their commitment to cultural enrichment: Senju through his dedicated practice of Nihonga painting - where organic materials are used. Hibiki, with its dedication to the craft of whisky making of exceptionalrefinement through heritage and innovation. Famed for his evocative and immersive renditions of Nature's waterfalls, Senju has created a profound backdrop to frame the Hibiki experience. "Waterfall on Colours 'Hibiki'" has been inspired by the blend's long association with "Kokimurasaki" deep purple. The artwork features 10 different shades of purple found in Nature, made using natural ingredients such as ground oyster shells and mineral pigments. Evoking the moment of standing in front of one of Nature's wonders, it creates a pause to contemplate life's ephemeral, fleeting yet timeless aspects.
